We all thrive to be on the first page of digg and other social bookmarking site so that we can earn more out of adsense.But its a total myth as the traffic from digg is just blind to see the ads they just see the contents and then move away.SO its always better to have organic traffic so that you get good results out of adsense

yea you got it right. I always think Organic traffic are the ONE who ticks on our business not the paid traffic which sucks.

I think any kind of traffic is good even if its coming from Digg. You might see a drop in CTR but still you will get some clicks and its all free traffic so you have nothing to loose!

Every traffic is good for the website..Paid or original but i am sure paid is not as good as original..

Original traffic really matters me alot because paid traffic will not be for all the time ..

If you are getting good traffic than it will certainly help you in long run. While google indexing the page ... traffic is also an important element which they are looking for. Page Rank is also determind on the base of Traffic (this is also one substance) ...

So for any kind of website Traffic is good one ... Alexa Ranking is also important don't you think so ?

Yes, you're right. But you may also consider that some members in digg may also click your ads if they found your content very interesting and informative. I think this is one of their ways to pay tribute to the authors for their hard work in writing quality content.
