Yahoo messenger 10.0 version. I upgraded as i upgraded my OS too.

Hello friends
I have been using the latest version of yahoo messenger 10.0and seem to be getting a lot of problems with chat rooms and a lag in the normal personal message chat. the chat rooms sometimes are all shown full or it takes too long to connect and gets aborted.... anyone knows how to correct this? my messenger has direct connection to the net and there is no other app hindering with it... do i need to install an older version? if yes than which one is best for me as i regularly use the voice and webcam service to
