Its difficult to get a new directory buzzing, you have to promote it and give people incentives to list their sites in your directory. Many people who start directories use a database purchased from a reputable source to at least get them off the ground. Then you just start have to promote it with links to get others in as well. Just so you know this is the approach I took, I now have a different problem in that all links have to be approved and I can't keep up with the incoming volume.

It is very time consuming submitting your site to different web directories, as there are so many directories where we can submit our site(s) for free.

There are thousands if not millions of directories out there.

Of course, that doesn't mean that we have to submit our site to all of them, just to the most relevant ones.

Some time ago I started to submit my site to several directories, than I stopped doing that. I want to resume my activity and start all over again, before the next google dance takes place

The Directories are the one who would help you to get a higher page rank. Youll have a good position in google when you do this directory submission, When you are in good position in google youll have lots of visitors. A traffic is made. I suggest that you should do manual submission .

Hi,
I don't think that directory submission really affect very much in our ranking because that's up to the directory.

Directories have proven an important source for links. These links should ideally be optimized for the keywords that we want our site ranked for in the search engines.

my regular consulting Doctor advised me to get a BPP scan done and I got it done and due to some unavoidable circumstances my doctor has gone out of station and she will be coming on 18th of this month, So meanwhile I managed to show my report to her junior doctor, But still I want you guys to give your opinion about my report, all that iam worried is about one thing in the report which says” Liquor is mildly increased AFI:20cms.” Does this affect me or my baby? I have put all the details of my report plz go through the same and let me know your opinions.

Directory submission is a decent way to generate backlinks, but this method is not as effective as it used to be. You need to choose and only submit to web directories that have good PR and reputation.
