I dont waste my time for DMOZ because i know importance of DMOZ but take about 3 to 6 month for approval and also 80% chance of rejection there due to lots crowd.

Now you can think that within three months or 6 months how many times google will update his PR (at least two times).

And i can push any of site up to PR 3 or 4 with help of directories and other link building way.
