Hi Guys,

I’m kind of confused. I have an ecommerce website, say .Example.co.uk (targeting for UK visitors) and it has PR 6 at the moment.
I really wondered why I am not getting any good search ranking for my site. My site has a good number of quality back links and my competitor site has lesser back links, but still they are getting good search ranking and why not me, they also have a PR 6.
I've been thinking is it related to something difference with SEO for international website? Is there anything that I can do to target UK customers?
OR my product page has more no. of back links than my home page. Is this an issue.
Will it make any difference?
Even Though I have PR 6 and good quality backlines why my site is not having a rank in google.co.uk search? But my competitor’s site PR 6 and lesser back links than my site, but they rank on 1st page of Google search.

Any SEO Experts can give a valuable info

You have to get tons of back links.. Quality of back links and it means submitting your URL to relevant sites..

PR is not the only thing to rank in google in top positions. Your domain age, website age, website weight, content refreshment, competition etc ...many factors need to check and optimise for ranking in top 10 positions in google. If you show your domain and your competitor domain - it helps in analysing in better way and then only one can suggest what steps you need to rank high in google.

please explain the missing factors in the algorithm besides what u have listed and the percentage of weight you guess each holds.

i am assming u know what the etc is and u are not like me and use etc when i don't know

if anyone else knows the "etc" please chime in with all the factors and your guess at the weights of the factors.

i if you have pr 6 for your site. it means your site has good quality content. Just follow some seo service and start promote your site in different ways. For e.g. social bookmarking, directory, article so on. Try this you sure get better result from them.

First thing you should remember is PR is less related to SERP. You have to build backlinks to get better SERP. If you are targeting UK traffic try to build more links from uk websites. Also when using anchor text try to use "keyword + Uk".
