Question yahoo spiders gone!!!!

I used to have over 20 - 30 yahoo spiders on my community at all times, but now I haven't seen any spiders in the past couple hours.

What gives? I even checked DP's online and there's only 3 yahoo spiders on.

I am seeing also lots of variation for positions in SEs so it can be possible that SEs are doing something to their crawler.

Thanks

It could just be an update in algorithm. or Yahoo is updating its crawler. Yahoo is acting weird these past few weeks.

Your Yahoo Group will have to be indexed in their group directory. Mine is currently indexed on Yahoo! in the top ten, but it is the front page only and not the messages, so make sure that you include your search words on the opening page to the site.

I've read this title, Bub-Bye Yahoo — it’s been Swell, eh! somewhere in a blog, I don't know if this is true, but it states there that,

Google has been eaten up by BING, which launched last year. With Google having over 90% of all searches use it’s site/index, Yahoo was stuck at around 4% and BING after launching recently achieved around 4% or so….which will now put the combined Yahoo/BING numbers at less than 10%.

There are rumours Yahoo is going to merge with some other search engines to try and get a decent market share back, but I wouldn't worry about the search engine going all together. The spiders are just new and different. no biggy.
